HD winXP Intel installed with AMD

you cannot because windows xp recognizes only the previous machine at the time of installation.If you are changing any parts of computer then u will have to install the Os again. have the same set up, p4 intel....i had to take my hd out and put it in a amd based machine to get some files off of. It worked fine. Now not sure about using it to boot up. Give it a shot. It isn't gonna hurt anything. heard that if I install my XP with intel I only must used in this computer, do you know if is true? XP isn't plug and play enough to reconfigure itselft and work fine with my AMD processor
